The Center for the Arts in Crested Butte, Colorado provides performances, exhibitions and educational programs for all ages. They wanted help with marketing and community outreach to support a $18.5 million capital campaign for an expanded arts facility after 30 years in their original building.

Blaze’s ongoing relationship with the Center for the Arts started in June 2016 when Blaze branded the capital campaign for a new building with a heart logo and the tagline, “Building in the heARTS of Crested Butte.” Marketing and PR directed the public to a microsite, buildingintheheARTS.org. Blaze has created and managed ongoing seasonal ad campaigns, negotiated media buys, designed and produced promotional materials for donors, created print and digital content, helped coordinate events, created a campaign specific donor database to segment solicitations and track responses, and provided strategic consulting.


Marketing and PR drove successful fundraising to enable the Center for the Arts to break ground in June 2017 on an expanded facility to showcase the visual, performing, culinary and literary arts. Phased construction is ongoing with a grand opening planned for summer 2019.
