Public Relations, Advertising

The Trust for Public Land is a US nonprofit organization that facilitates and funds the creation of parks, trails and protected lands across the country. TPL wanted to gain broad community support and advance fundraising for a campaign to preserve the Trampe Ranch, the largest land conservation project in the history of Gunnison County, Colorado. The challenge was to provide an authentic community voice and use a sense of place to tell the story of why it was so important to save the Trampe Ranch.

Blaze assisted The Trust for Public Land with media buys, copywriting, advertising, press releases, newsletters, a case statement, postcard and e-blasts, and also served as a communications liaison between TPL’s regional team in Denver and partner conservation organizations in Gunnison County, Colorado.

Successfully raised $24.5 million to permanently protect from future development and subdivision the 6,000-acre heritage ranch owned for generations by the Trampe Family.
