Project

The Trust for Public Land wanted to gain broad community support and advance fundraising for a campaign to preserve the Trampe Ranch, the largest land conservation project in the history of Gunnison County, Colorado. The challenge was to provide an authentic community voice and use a sense of place to tell the story of why it was so important to save the Trampe Ranch.

Blaze assisted TPL with media buys, copywriting, advertising, press releases, newsletters, a case statement, direct mail and e-blasts, and also served as a communications liaison between TPL’s regional team in Denver and partner conservation organizations in Gunnison County.

Impact

Successfully raised $24.5 million to permanently protect from future development and subdivision the 6,000-acre heritage ranch owned for generations by the Trampe Family.
